Rule Britannia did his first 3* at Belsay. Although not the best on paper he did a pleasing test with lots of improvement – he is getting more rideable despite dressage not being his favourite phase.
He jumped a super showjumping round just toe tapping a pole, and across country he found a rather large step quite scary – it was the biggest he’s seen so was good experience. After putting that behind them he absolutely flew round, making the other tough combinations feel very easy.
