Sarah Winfrey’s Cooley For Sure (pictured) had his first run back since Bramham, jumping a nice steady clear in the open intermediate to finish 14th.
It was a step up for Nicky Coe’s Coronea May, who successfully tackled her first novice, jumping a lovely, confident cross country clear which is exciting for the future.
Finally Joseph Reed and Lorna McWilliams’ Rule Britannia II did his second BE100 and posted his best result to date – 29.8 dressage and double clear. Greta kept her foot off the accelerator due to the heat, so a couple of time faults dropped the pair from third to eighth.
